The next movie is coming up surprisingly fast – just over a month! So I thought I’d write up a few hopes and Digimon Adventure Last Evolution Kizuna Predictions.
Before we start, I’m not mentioning obvious things we’ve already seen in images or pre-release information such as Yamato reading a book on Astronomy or Miyako being a computer science University student. These things are fantastic and one would assume they get expanded on slightly, but it’s nice to just know anyway.
In addition, I do kind of hope this is the last ‘Adventure’ movie – while I adore the Adventure kids, I just want to see them be able to ‘retire’ and enjoy their life as ‘adults’ and I really, really hope this how this movie goes.
Now all of my Last Evolution Kizuna predictions are all fairly unlikely (but not impossible!), so some may be closer to hopes than real predictions.
So here we go, my five predictions for Digimon Adventure Last Evolution, in no particular order…
My Digimon Adventure Last Evolution Kizuna Predictions (or Hopes)
Return to the dark ocean or dark cave
I loved Digimon Adventure and Digimon Adventure 02’s occasional dips into the dark realms of the human mind with a place that can be interpreted as a Digital manifestation of the human mind. It was nice and suprising to see the dark ocean reappear in Tri, despite its rather brief appearance, I appreciated it, but I’d really like to see it expanded on a bit further.
So I’d be pretty excited to see a return to the dark ocean or dark cave or perhaps even some connection between the two.
Jogress partners for remaining chosen
While Taichi and Yamato, Daisuke and Ken, Hikari and Yolei, and Takeru and Iori are all able to have their Digimon reach higher forms through Jogress, Mimi and Sora, and Joe and Koushiro are left out.
Unlikely but what if the two mystery Digimon in the trailer are the combination forms of Rosemon and Houhoumon, and HerculesKabuterimon and Vikemon.
While these Digimon are likely further evolutions from Omegamon and Paildramon, it would be nice to have some other Digimon show get evolutions.
Alternatively, I’d love if these mystery Digimon are further evolutions for Silphymon and Shakkoumon.
More of an equal focus on all children
I’m pretty doubtful on this one as it’s just one movie and not 6. I loved how in Digimon Adventure Tri that, for the most part, all children were the focus at some part.
A non-straight chosen child
Okay, this one is pretty unlikely but it’s not entirely impossible after Appmon.
I’d like it to be Mimi, but it’s possible for any of the children who we didn’t see partners of in the epilogue. Or hell, even make Miyako have a girlfriend at University. I had to list this for Digimon Adventure Last Evolution Kizuna predictions, though it’s probably more of a hope…
Glasses girl is Joe’s girlfriend
Remember glasses girl from Revenger of Diaboramon? Yeah. Also speaking of one off movie characters, Wallace can come back and be Hikari’s boyfriend or something.
