Following on from last week’s review and, of course, our podcast discussion episode, it’s time to watch the 47th episode of Digimon Ghost Game)!
Opening thoughts
I’m really excited to see Shadramon this week, honestly, but that’s about it.
Digimon Ghost Game Episode 47 “Memory of Eternity”
A dying Shadramon is scared to lose his memories when he is reborn as a Digitama and a Digimon says that he’ll make it so he doesn’t forget, the unknown Digimon then gives the memories to a human who happens to work with Kiyoshiro and watches anime with him which is hilarious. More Shadramon parts begin to come out of him and Kiyoshiro realises it’s a hologram ghost and his wants Kiyoshiro to help.
HE IS SURPRISED THAT KIYOSHIRO HAS FRIENDS. Tamotsu begins to hear voices and collapses. Espimon goes to get Angoramon to see if he’s seen this before. Espimon then is asked to find Jellymon. Shadramon makes Tamotsu eat rubbish during the night. They then go to see Mummymon, but Shadramon doesn’t want him to go. Shadramon bursts through the body and then flies off as a human Digimon hybrid after typing up Kiyoshiro.
Mummymon explains that this may be the memories of a dead Digimon as Digimon lose their memories when they are reborn. Shadraon then becomes solid and it looks sooo painful and horrifying. The Digimon reveals itself to be Nanomon. Jellymon and Gammamon evolve to fight. Nanomon is TINY and inside Tamo’s ear.
Nanomon explains his experiement which was a test to see if he could live forever. TeslaJellymon then uses Espimon as a magnet to retrieve Nanomon.
TeslaJellymon evolves to Thetismon to unmerge Shadramon from Tamo, but Shadramon still dies which is really sad. Mummymon says that dying and being reborn as Digitama is the very nature of Digimon.
Blacktailmon Uver shows up to get the Digitama and Nanomon. Hiro gives him a letter for his Dad.
