Compared to the two movies before, Chapter 5’s beginning, despite carrying on from the previous movie, personally felt like it started with less of an impact.
And it continued that way for the whole movie in my opinion.

After the cliffhanging twist ending of Confession (Gennai? Maki’s evil? Rebooted Digital World?), fans anxiously awaiting the release of Digimon Adventure Tri Chapter 4.
Tri to be Excited #3 – Digimon Adventure Tri Chapter 3: Confession
Three days left!
The first ‘trailer’ for Digimon Adventure Tri Chapter 3 came out at the end of one of the PVs for Chapter 2. In this short trailer we were shown Patamon saying goodbye to Takeru and Takeru crying out for him.
This short sneakpeak gave fans a warning months and months prior to Confession’s release that Chapter 3 would probably break out hearts.

Digimon Adventure Tri Chapter 2 was where the plot really started to take off; we learnt more about the infection, the Chosen Children welcomed Meiko into the group, we learn a little more about Maki and Daigo’s relationship, and we get our first death (and of course, it’s a Leomon!).
