Clockmon returns, but I wonder if he’s the big bad for the show?
Digimon Ghost Game Episode 9 “Warped Time”
Digimon Ghost Game Episode 9 Review
Hiro starts astral projecting in his dream and oversleeps. He is then late to meet his friend, and then arrives back at the form late, and then experiences a time skip later in his room.
Hiro talks to Ruri about it, Ruri suggests going to the library. Hiro ends up being late. At the library, Kiyoshiro and Jellymon are there because Jellymon loves libraries and also explains that this one is haunted.
Hiro experiences tinnitus and then a nearby girl is heard screaming and the group get attacked by a pile of books. It turns out to be Bokomon and Bakumon. Bokomon is bressed as a professor, because he is a professor.
Bokomon explains the different physical states Digimon can have. Which is something I wondered about already about how they materialise, but it’s nice to have it confirmed.
Bokomon explains that human bodies can burn up if they’re transfeered to the digital world.
We then learn that Ruri’s real motive was to visit a coffee shop while Hiro and Bokomon talk, but Hiro never notices that they have left. When Hiro leaves,he is attacked again and we learn that he is being attacked by Clockmon.
Clockmon was waiting for Hiro to be alone so he could attack. Hiro does the zone transfer as Clockmon attacks and Bakumon saves him. Gammamon then shows up.
Clockmon has decided that he really just wants to eat people and this really upsets Gammamon, who turns briefly into his evil form as a shadow and attacks.
Clockmon’s attack gets turned on him and he begins rapidly aging and calling out for help and it’s really disturbing, so Hiro decides to help. Which, honestly I agree with because of how distressing this is.
Gammamon evolves to BetelGammamon and Bokomon tells him to spin the clock the other way. So they do by attacking to blow it that way, which is cool.
Hiro ends up saving Clockmon and Clockmon is grateful. Bokomon wants to keep an eye on Clockmon and tells the others he’ll teach them how to control their materilisation better. Bokomon says that the evolution must be caused by the feelings between Hiro and Gammamon.
Rating for Digimon Ghost Game Episode 9
5/5
Honestly, I actually like that they saved Clockmon, it was a really gruesome looking time for Clockmon since he was rapidly aging and falling apart, so I understand Hiro’s reasoning for saving Clockmon.
This episode looked great too, which is a huge bonus.
