Following on from last week’s review and, of course, our podcast discussion episode, it’s time to watch the 55th episode of Digimon Ghost Game)!

Is this just the bird episode again but this time with cats??

Digimon Ghost Game Episode 55 “Bakeneko”
Oh dear five seconds in and a girl is doing dangerous things on her balcony in her sleep? Sleep parkour with very haunting cats?
Bastemon is telling stray cats to train humans? Kiyoshiro sleep walks next. Kiyoshiro then locks himself in his room as Jellymon is away doing farming business and can’t protect him. Hiro then follows Kiyoshiro and Gammamon when they sleep walk.
Bastemon wants humans to respect cats because they used to be considered gods. Everytime a cat does something, Bastemon thinks it’s great and gets the humans to do it, like jump up high and go through tight spaces.
Bastemon seems to recognise Gammamon. Bastemon then makes everyone dig holes. The group then starts to realise they’re digging their own graves. The ones who pass get to be the pets of the cats. Ruli then finds that olives and celery can intoxicate cats so she throws a lot of celery and olives down while flying on Airdramon.
Lamortmon and Bastemon fight but Bastemon controls Lamortmon, so CanonWeismon has to stop him. Bastemon tries to feed on Thetismon but she’s holding the celery and olives and they’re able to defeat them.
Bastemon admits defeat and wonders if she can have a partner like that one day.

Rating for Digimon Ghost Game Episode 55
Another solid, yet horrifying episode of Digimon Ghost Game.
However, the ending did feel a little too easy – Bastemon just gave up once she got high enough, I guess?
