Following on from last episode’s review and, of course, our podcast discussion episode, it’s time to watch the 25th episode of Digimon Ghost Game)!
Opening thoughts
Happy to be back after another week off from covering Digimon, let’s see how hot they make Vamdemon!
Digimon Ghost Game Episode 25 “Crimson Banquet”
I’ve already seen spoilers on the official Digimon twitter account but I am excited and thirsty.
Big scary building with bishounen called Aviel with a DOG HE HAS A DOG I LOVE HIM. Oh this is horrifying and is very traditional vampire of ‘very sexy but also very very scary’.
Ruri has been invited. Ruri’s friends are excited she will meet Aviel but she says she’s not interested in him.
Oh shit I think Dracomon is also biting humans.
Myotismon is targeting infeluencers. Ruri’s friends tag along and Kiyoshiro straight away thinks he looks like a vampire. Angoramon is flying along.
Angoramon seees Dracumon and freaks out. The dog is Sangloupmon.Vamdemon kills Dracumon, which is really hilariously anti climatic.
Vamdemon wants to turn everyone into vampires and rule the world. He wants the humans who have Digimon to rule with him. The other vampire is Matadormon.
Gammamon evolves to BetelGammamon and Jellymon evolves as Angoramon is injured and Vamdemon wants to see their power to see if they’re worthy.
Hiro starts showing to be in pain when BetelGammamon takes damage because of the bat, which is weird because I thought the digivice would do that.
BetelGammamon’s eyes go black and Hiro says they’ll get through it together. His eyes go normal and he evolves to Canon Weismon and he possibly kills Vamdemon as he turns into bats. Sanglopmon and Matadormon flee.

This episode is hard to rank, it had a lot that I liked, but also a lot that I wasn’t too sure on. It felt like a weird episode to end up being Hiro’s episode since Ruri felt like the main character. The episode also had the Ghost Game problem of being paced weirdly
It’s also weird that they killed off Dracumon, but it was nice to see him again, albeit briefly.
