Opening thoughts
Well, here it is folks, the final episode of Digimon Ghost Game, but will this episode flop or will it prove to be the finale of the best series of Digimon?
Digimon Ghost Game Episode 67 “The Devourer of All”
Regulusmon’s laugh at the start is so fantastically voice acted. Gammamon is in some nightmare space where nobody is replying to him and they keep vanishing. He also sees Bokomon dying and thinks about how he’s on a journey. Siriusmon’s data is being loaded by Regulusmon, then time slows down and Hiro hears a voice and is brought to the nightmare space with Gammamon, but then Hiro realises that the Gammamon there is Regulusmon because he doesn’t talk in Gammamon’s language. Hiro grows a weapon on his arm, what?
Hiro finds the real Gammamon and he doesn’t remember him. Hiro brings him back with the power of friendship because of course he does. Gammamon is able to slide evolve to all his evolutions which is cool. SIriusmon causes Regulusmon to revert to GulusGammamon and then Siriusmon devours and combines with him, turning everything in the Digital World back to normal. Bloomlordmon lets them enter. They meet Quantumon who I guess made the Digivices. She is the one who sent the Digimon to save them from the corrosion. She doesn’t understand emotions, so she sent Digimon to investigate.
Sudddenly the dark Digimon show up and Gammamon starts talking as GulusGammamon. The dark Digimon were there to monitor GulusGammamon. Gammamon explains that his planet was devoured and this world will be devoured in 2000 years too so Digimon and humans have to coexist so Ruli, Kiyoshiro, and Hiro become mon of the week solvers like they’ve always been doing.
