Following on from last episode’s review and, of course, our podcast discussion episode, it’s time to watch the 61st episode of Digimon Ghost Game)!

Will this week’s episode have plot since the series is seemingly wrapping up? Or will it be another filler episode?
Digimon Ghost Game Episode 61 “Resurrection”
A woman dies due to an explosion at work, a girl then sees her corpse wandering in her house, the girl is the sister of the woman’s fiance and, she goes to school with Ruli. The group go to the girl’s house and hear voices and see the corpse, which her fiance has brought around.
Her fiance is able to bring some life to her and watch TV with her. This episode is a little too much, it’s really emotional but also creepy. Some weird data appears on the girl’s brother when his fiances touches him.
Evilmon and Tsumemon are around and the corpses rushes at the group. She has Zeed Millenniummon inside her, We get Sirusmon and Diarbbitmon. The girl’s voice stops them, she was studying Moon Millenniummon in a portal and tells the group that she is the weak point and they must aim at her. Hiro decides to keep Moon Millenniummon, Black Tailmon watches on, and Espimon wishes he could evolve.

An episode that ended with some plot, but it took me a while to mentally unpack the episode – the idea of losing your fiancé suddenly is such a horrifying and emotional thought and made me so uncomfortable I initially wasn’t sure if I liked the episode.
But art is meant to make you feel things.
And I felt things.
