P is For…

I’m not the biggest fan of Frontier – it has a great backstory, great lore, a great world, new mechanics, a more diverse team (fat guy and foreign girl), Bokomon and Neemon, a fantastic opening (both English dub and Japanese) but it just feels like it falls short of being better.
However, Petaldramon’s design and personality in the English sub is just so adorable – he stands up and gives advice like a little flower-dragon meerkat. I love him.
Petaldramon is probably one of my top five Digimon. I’m a big fan of the ‘dramon’ family and the fact that this one is a flower just makes me so happy.
There’s the idea that the Dark Spirits could possibly just be corrupted versions of the ‘true spirits’ like how Duskmon was just a corrupted version of Lowemon. It’s not canon but a nice idea. Though I can only imagine uncorrupted Petaldramon would just be Sunflowmon.
