When I first set up my choices for each letter, I usually add a little note next to the Digimon’s name as a brief summary of my emotions. For this Digimon, it just said ‘ok’.
P is For…
Ok, now I see why.
This is a Digimon that, for some reason, does not seem like a Digimon to me.
In fact, when I was rewatching Xros Wars recently for the podcast, I had forgotten he existed and had a moment of genuine confusion when I was faced with a Digimon I felt like I had never seen before. He’s one of the few Digimon that have only shown up in one piece of media and then never again, mostly, Digimon that fall under the small category are from either the Xros Wars Manga or V-Tamer.
In the anime, there aren’t many Digimon who have just shown up once, even when the winners of the ‘Design a Digimon contest’ show up in the anime, they usually have a larger part in the anime, and, of course, are designed by a fan.Panbachimon was not a fan designed Digimon, meaning it’s kind of bizarre that he has only appeared once in the background of a scene.
I don’t hate him, but there’s something just weird about him.
So, what’s the dumbest Digimon design starting with ‘P’ according to you?
